In 2016, I made Penang Island, Malaysia, my second home when I moved there to teach. This vibrant place - bursting with colour, rich in sound, and infused with the scent of incense and jungle air became a profound source of inspiration for my artwork. Malaysia’s unique atmosphere has left an indelible mark on my practice, enriching my canvases with its warmth and energy.
